Lovely atmosphere, friendly waitress and owner, and I liked the calming sound of the water running in the center of the restaurant. The sweet potatoe maki rolls were delicious.
This use to be one of my favorite places to go, we haven't been in a long time so we decided to go last night. Though the people were very good with our children, I wasn't so satisfied with the service or quality anymore. When I tried to sub my rice for noodles, they said that want allowed (even though I have done it every other time). Then when we got our food it is literally like 1/2 the serving size it use to be. Though the food was still good, I was very disappointed with how things are there now.
Dark atmosphere. Flavorless food. Old rice. Was that green tea or dishwater? Not recommended. Waitress was fine. Entree was served before we finished appetizers. Hope we don't get sick.
Have eaten here several times and usually left complaining about the service. But the food was good and the prices were affordable, and to be honest until the last two visits had the best hot and sour soup around. But this last visit was probably my last. I took my employees out for dinner and was enjoying a nice evening telling stories, when the waitress comes to our table and asks us to leave because they had people waiting to be seated. I just spent a goodly amount for seven dinners and then they throw us out. Not the experience I want to pay for.
Ichiro is wonderful! If you have never experienced Ichiro, you owe it to yourself. You'll be glad you did.
