ConAgra Brands Odom's Tennessee Pride is a good place to work with very competitive pay. *Example* When I started, I left a retail clothing store as an sales associate working 26 hours a week making about $8.25 an hour up from $7.50 for working there about 2 1/2 years. I started at an entry level position at ConAgra through a temp service working 36-40 hours a week make a about $9.75 an hour. After being hired in directly, I made about $10 with an incremental raise each 90 day period til I topped out at around $13 plus a 25¢ shift differential...and the raises have gone up since then. It's a lot of money compared to a regular retail/fast food job especially for how easy the work is that they want you to do. Yes, it is a factory but the work conditions aren't grueling. There aren't harsh chemicals smells or extreme temperatures in normal work areas. The work force is about 30% male & 70% female with people in an age range from 19-70. There is room for advancement for individuals who have a serious desire to advance to positions of a more technical nature with little to no prerequisite training/skills needed to succeed. You will have to give up your evenings (3pm-12am) but this is a job most any person (who can stand & twist their torso for 1 hour and 45 mins) can do. Come help us spread our Pride, nationwide!
I've bought this sausage for many years but I will not buy the boxed sausage again because the patties are as thin as pancakes. The price of a box of patties is almost $8 and the patties are too thin.
This sausage is not the same as in previous years...taste is nothing like it use to be. Never buy it again
