James, an electrical technician with Hiller, visited our home last week on Wednesday to complete a "tune up" on our electrical system. He was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous... everything you want a professional technician to be. He even took time to help us with a chirping smoke detector (definitely not part of the tune up he was there to do) that was driving us crazy! This is the second time that James has visited our home as a representative of Hiller for an electrical check and we could not be more pleased with the service he provides.
Same day response that was greatly appreciated. 2 plumbers arrived on time in a large well marked box truck. They did not have the part needed for the repair. They drove into the city to purchase the part and promptly returned and installed the part. The service guys did a great job however it would have more convenient for all parties if they would have the parts prior to arrival.
Overall the service was great however the systems need to be improved and more technology implemented. Having said all this , I do not know of many other companies that could have responded better.
We have used Hiller several times and they have always been timely, efficient, clean and professional. They recently fixed a leaky faucet in my bathtub and I had them change out the faucets and pipes inside the wall as well. They did a great job, but I did not like the faucets. Thinking I would just have to live with it, they offered to order me new faucets of my choosing and reinstall them at no charge. (They really want you to be happy.) When they came to reinstall they said that the new faucets would not fit the pipes they had recently put in so I told them not to worry about it, that I would get used to the old ones. Instead they removed the pipes, installed new pipes and put in my new faucets all at no charge. Unbelievable! I will continue to use Hiller on all my future plumbing needs as they are the only plumbers to have come into my home, not leave a mess, not break anything in the process, finish the job on time and will not consider the job finished until you are completely satisfied. Thank you Hiller for giving me the peace of mind that I can call you anytime day or night and know that I will be taken care of by professionals.
The charges were exactly as explained. I would have preferred that the service guys use a device to run my credit card. The process was antiquated and unsecured as they wrote my credit card information on my invoice that contained all my personal information as well.
We have been Hiller Club members for several years now and have never been disappointed in the service we have received. Today we had our electrical inspection and once again we received excellent service. James and Tony came to do our inspection. They were very professional and very friendly. While inspecting our home, a problem was found and they thoroughly explained what they found and what our options were. We highly recommend the Hiller Company for home needs you may need that they provide. You won't be disappointed.
I had two installers come to my home to give us a quote on some electrical work that my husband wanted to have done around the house. The two gentlemen were very professional, James and Tony, while they were at my home. I showed them everything that we wanted to have done and they answered all the questions I had in a way that I could understand and not in electrician terms. They offered to put together a quote but suggested that since we had several projects that we wanted to have done that we might want to meet with a project manager. This appointment was scheduled while they were still at my home. My husband met with the project manager and we will be doing business with Hiller.
I offered to send pictures of the drain under the sink to the person making the appointment. She said it would not be necessary as their trucks would have all parts needed for repairs. This could have saved time for all if my pictures were accepted.
