Had nothing but crappy houses to show us for rent one actually looked like something blew up on the carpet and walls was very disappointed for a company that has such a good name to show us crap like this I will not go to them when it comes time to buy I will go somewhere they actually care about what condition the house is in not just the money that is to be made off of it
I am writing this review due to the malicious attack on my family’s credibility and to inform future clients of potential problems with Parker Peery Properties. The problems began when my wife, sole owner of her deceased parents’ house, told a Parker Peery agent that she would list the house with her when she was ready to sell it. The real estate agent recommended a home stager and said that she would not list a house without it being staged, so my wife decided to hire the stager. No contract was officially signed to list the house, when WITHOUT consent from my wife, the home stager painted a new gas fireplace and a kitchen island as well as the kitchen walls, which were recently professionally painted. My wife had to hire a painter to repair those damages. In addition, instead of communicating directly with my wife, both the home stager and the real estate agent only communicated with her brother, who does not own the house, and they had knowledge of this.
We were required to pay a $70 application fee for which we got no receipt. We were shown the house then turned down because of our "credit rating" even though our rental record was impeccable (we had a few outstanding medical bills). We were then informed that 6 other couples had been turned down. This is a racket. They are making more $ taking applications than they would renting the place. I am disgusted!
After these incidents, my wife decided to inform the owner, Ms. Carrie Parker Peery, of her displeasure of the unprofessional actions of the real estate agents. Instead of getting a response that this matter will be addressed and corrected, Ms. Carrie Parker Perry denied that any of this occurred, thus suggesting that my wife lied. She bore no responsibility for the home stager even though the stager was recommended by one of her real estate agents and both the agent and stager were in communication.
Being a first time home buyer they made it very easy and were pleasant to work with. I would use them again.
Peggy is the realtor I choose for any of my property needs. From renting to buying she's been wonderful, personal, and professional. The office is in a great location in Dickson and a beautifully restored historic home just a block from downtown Dickson.
Because of a lack professionalism and responsibility, I will NOT recommend Parker Peery Properties to any friends or family members.
