Dr Lucas nurse was very unfriendly! She had an attitude. I felt like they didn't like their job especially their patients. Not a good place to go to.
I paid Dr. Delores Lucas $140 for the FIVE minutes I saw her. I waits over two months to hear back on rather my insurance approved it. Never heard back so I called the doctors office and was told to call pharmacy again and they mailed a small sample to "hold me over" until it processed again.
Really helped my sons with plantar wart removal without having to cut . I really like her.
I had a very bad experience with Dr. Lucas. She was very impatient with me and my husband. We won't be returning.
I went in December 2016 for my appointment with Dr. Delores Lucas. Prior to this I had never been to a dermatologist. She was in the room for 5 min max. Told me to call a pharmacy number she gave where I had to give ALL of my info talking to people who I couldn't understand where they'd have to contact my insurance and MAIL me my prescription instead of going to an actual pharmacy in town.
Never heard from them. I went in to see her 8 months ago and NEVER got my prescription. I paid $140 for absolutely nothing. Will never go back or recommend this dermatologist. You will pay and not get what you need. Rip off!
Another month or so goes by. Got a voicemail from the phone pharmacy and they said along the lines of "your doctor was aware of your insurance not covering this prescription. Please reach out to your doctor". I was mad. I called and they researched it and said because dr. Lucas never tested what was wrong with me my insurance wouldn't cover the prescription that was over $1500. So they gave me a small sample to hold me over so they could try again but with a different medication and dr. Lucas office said they would contact me in a few days with info.
I have seen here three times and always found her to be friendly and staff too.I will be seeing her again if I have to go.I went for small surgical proceedure in office and the other was small cyst and she was really friendly all three times.I am not sure why there such bad negative feedabck but she is really nice that is the truth.
