Shortly after, he started to prep for installation. Jorge brought a large container of adhesive into our kitchen and placed it on our hardwood floor with no drop clothes. Then he removed window trim causing damage to the trim, drywall in multiple spots, removed outlet covers and nailed a piece of wood to the wall behind our stove as a foundation for the tile.
The only reason I provided one star is that zero stars was not an option.
Courteous and efficient, as well as reasonable prices ...I would recommend them to anyone.
Here's my recommendation, if you here the name Jorge Sandoval or S&S Tile Installers RUN - DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. He lacks credibility, is totally unprofessional and you cannot trust anything that he says. Save yourself the grief and cost that you will incur to repair the damage he will cause.
Jorge Sandoval from S&S Tile Installers was hired to install a mosaic glass tile back-splash in our kitchen. I supplied all tile, grout and caulk. He accepted the job that was planned to be completed on 07/07/2016. Jorge and his assistant arrived over an hour late. He then measured the area to confirm the square footage that I provided to him and confirmed the accuracy. He then informed my wife that I provided a lower square footage and attempted to increase the price. My wife showed him the email thread from our dialogue through Angie's list with all the specifics and he became agitated.
Then, he stopped working to take a call where he arranged for another job (my wife heard the conversation) and them came up with excuses why he could not do the job he was hired to do. He then started to pack his equipment, nailed the window trim back up with 4" nails and filled in the holes he created with caulk, he then used a pry bar to remove the wood behind the stove leaving marks and holes all over our walls. Thanks to Jorge, our 5 year old custom home has a kitchen that looks like crap.
