Well my moms friend is in here and we sit up there all the time , we will be here for for 3-4 hrs and they do good but they only come in there once in those three to four hrs and when we are there but other rooms dont have company they take forever to get to them . Like two people fell and one room partner was yelling For the longest , you can’t say they couldn’t hear him because he was at the door and they was just standing at the desk talking in a big circle !! . And then I went to go get some ice for my mom friend and I asked the women to get some ice for me and she gave me a dirty look , I gave one back , and she said give me a min .. a min for what ? All they was doing was standing around laughing and talking . Then also someone’s button was going off while I as up there , 30 mins later we go to leave and the same button light was going off and beeping and nursing standing around . There sweet and nice nurses , but I think when someone pushes a button and they can hear it goIng off at the desk and see what room it is that should be the first thing they wanna do , IS GO SEE WHATS WRONG OR WHAT THE PEOPLE NEED . NOT STAND AND TALK. . IF YOU WORK THERE , YOU NEED TO DO YOUR JOB . BECAUSE ONE DAY SOMEONE IS GOING TO PUSH THAT BUTTON AND YALL (NHC Workers) ISNT GOING TO GO TELL AN HR LATER OR WHAT EVER AND THERE GOING TO BE DEAD BECAUSE IF THEY FALL AND HIT SOMETHING AND GET INJURED ! AND I HOPE YOU KNOW YOUR GOING TO LIVE WITH THAT THE REST OF YOUR LIFE ! Also , the person next to her has a swallowing problem and no one was in there watching her eat the hole time we was there ! This place has some horrible people that just want money , there money hungry and all they do is stand around and worry about thereself.
2 stars is all I could give NHC! There all about takin from the elderly patient what they can! My grandfather is a diabetic that had gotten a sore on his ankle that had got infected! He had been in the hospital and layed in bed a month and legs got weak the only reason he had went to NHC was for rehab to get him walking again! When he started walking again we had called and let em know we would be coming and getting him which led us going to a meeting where we were informed that his leg wasn't going to heal that he was going to half to have a soon graft if it was going to heal! But is he walking ( yes) Because someone that is a diabetic can't began to heal if there sugar is high and it stayed high at NHC cuz they fed him the same as everyone else eats which is really messed up! After the meeting and myself telling her he was coming home we had expected to as my Grandfather but o no she led us to another office where to woman had already had the paper work ready for me to sign giving them land deeds bank account numbers I mean cleaning him out! Whole time I'm saying he's coming home! I had explained that my grandmother never wanted the land sold that it's in the will a life time diary! She started saying WE'LL YOUR GRANDMOTHER SHOULDN'T OF DONE THAT! Keep in mind my Grandfather is in great shape considering he's 90 sound and mind all but the leg that can't heal cuz there giving him cake fried food you know ( anything so the leg will not heal) so they cam keep him until they had taken it all! Well he came home on Thanksgiving 2017 and guess what his leg has healed and WE have kept his sugar low because of what we feed him! It's so sad that unfortunately there plan had worked on so many other patients where they had manipulated they family into believing there B.S. it's not just NHC and the health dept broken it's the whole country Greed!!! You work for 50 yrs pay for insurance that would hopefully take care of you the last yrs of your life and than they want everything else you have!
