I worked there. Another employee and I witnessed the owner spray Yeti, a great Dane in our care for doggy-daycare, in the face several times with air freshner (Yeti has skin sensitivity) for annoying him (he had already been isolated from the other dogs for days, & placed his paws on the room divider to watch the other dogs play.. Which is what annoyed Lee). The other groomer told me that Lee hates Yeti & other big dogs. She's known him for 4 years. We also witnessed him abusing a hound with a shock collar. Repeatedly pressing the shock feature while the dog cried. I did not report him because I was in a disadvantaged position at the time. I was fired for being confrontational a few weeks later though. He allowed the other 2 helpers to hangout while I was forced to do all of their work plus mine, too many days in a row (you can't leave until everything is done, so they have no problem catching a ride on your workload). We were told to "manage ourselves", & so I did, & was fired for it. Lee has no clue how to manage employees or about the definition of CARE (even though he says he's also an RN). Tobacco users are not welcome at this business. Lee told me he didn't want me smoking on my lunch break or wearing my groomer top while I smoked, because the smell might rub off on the dogs.. Even though my job was to wash them.

I have carried my highly energetic Chocolate Labrador puppy to Woof! since she was old enough. As stated in another review, my dog absolutely loves going to see Lee and his crew. They have nothing but good things to say about my rambunctious puppy, and everytime I stop by to pick her up she is playing with the other dogs that are freely roaming in the back room. My wife and I like Woof! so much that we have referred their services to several friends and family.

I was so looking forward to having Tobi groomed. I got a free session from the Humane Society when I adopted her. I made her appointment and was so excited about her getting the experience and me not having to do it by myself at home. Unfortunately, I didn't feel heard or respected by the gentleman that was assisting me. As someone with customer service experience, when a customer has a differing opinion or does not understand why I do something a certain way, I want to make every effort to explain and reassure them about what's happening- make them feel comfortable- not belittle them or make them feel ignorant or unwanted. He and I disagreed about removing her sorresto collar to be bathed. I understand he has a lot more experience in dog grooming than I do, but I trust my vet to the moon and back and have with our other dogs and cats for over 20 years. If my trained, licensed vet tells me that something is ok- I'm pretty much going to take it as the gospel truth. Unfortunately, Tobi and I left without receiving any services because I felt that my own personal knowledge of my dog and my vet's experience and knowledge were being thrown to the way side. Maybe he was just not having a good morning- chalk it up to waking up on the wrong side of the bed, but; I would have appreciated not being spoken to in such a manner. I probably wasn't being the most sweet person in the world either but I was astounded by the manner in which I was spoken to as a potential customer.

Cons:

My "hound" is the one the dismissed, disgruntled and justifiably-former employee is referring to in the above review. My dog's collar has three settings-tone, vibrate and shock. Rarely is the shock needed as a friendly reminder with the tone or vibration is all it takes to settle my high energy dog down. If indeed the shock was administered, as approved by me for training, the setting is on the lowest setting available and used after the other two have failed. It is delivered when Jax goes to the groomer in a paper bag (he wears another collar for his visit) and is more times than not, not even used during his stay. If my dog was being abused, he would not want to walk into the shop at all. As it stands, he LOVES spending the day with "Mr. Lee" and all his "friends". Lee and his wonderful staff cared for my older dog before she passed and I have the utmost trust and faith in their care of the animals under their charge. Please consider the source and motivation of the above review in making your decision to entrust your animal to Woof!

Lee and his team provide excellent grooming services and care for your dog(s). Prices are very reasonable and the staff is always professional and courteous.

Pros:

Great location. Easy to get an appointment. Store front is clean.
