I stopped by here on a trip through Dickson. So glad I did! The BBQ pork sandwiches are the best I've had yet! I definitely recommend Back Alley BBQ if you are in the area!
BBQ brisket nachos on Thursday are my favorite. The green beans are amazing, and the corn pudding is also good. I don't really like the cornbread but most people do. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Despite the fact that on two separate occasions we have specifically called ahead to acertain if this establishment was open, we've arrived (after driving nearly an hour) to find the doors locked, the windows dark, and our bellies still hungry. This has happened on two separate occasions, and I have yet to taste what Back Alley BBQ has to offer. Very disapppointed. It's unlikely we will make the drive again. Maybe I'd rate it higher if I ever get a chance to eat there. I'd suggest keeping customers better informed and providing accurate information to customers regarding hours of operation.
Excellent food! Everything from ribs, pulled pork to sides are delicious! I know... some of you are wondering about the corn pudding. If you've never tasted or even heard of it, you're will be amazed.
Excellent pulled pork and ribs in addition to a nice variety of specials like brisket tacos and BBQ nachos depending on the day.
