The food was ok, but not fabulous. Just your typical buffet. The restaurant is just an open, large and brightly-lit room, so there's no privacy or intimacy if you're on a date. The music is HORRIBLE. They play 50s and 60s music at a VERY loud volume. It's very intrusive. I asked the cashier if they ever played different music, since the same music was playing both times I ate there. She said that the owner wouldn't let them change the music. I told her to please pass on the opinion of one of his patrons--that I would not dine there in the future, solely because of the music.
Very good food! Large variety of meats, vegetables, salad bar, and dessert bar. Everything is fresh and hot on the buffet bar. The servers are polite and prompt. It is very clean. The restrooms are clean too. It is a very large seating restaurant.
This is such a nice place to eat at. The employees are always cheerful and there to get your drinks if you choose from the buffet or order from menu. They are there for you. The food is like home cooked meals and is very good. Makes you want to return again and again.
The prices are very reasonable, and the food is good enough we drive out once per week even though it's 45 minutes away. They have a great variety of good "home cookin" and for dessert there is an ice-cream and pie/cobbler bar with fresh homemade options. Great atmosphere with good (low key) music. They also have a small arcade area with claw machines and video games. Excellent place to eat.
The place closed at 9 I got there about 7:30 and there were like 3 people there. I still didn't get good service because everybody was too busy cleaning like they were getting ready to close but it was only 7:30. My biggest complaint was I saw all of these reviews it's on Google that said the food was great and it was the best fish they've ever had and blah blah blah. Take it from me if that's true then people in Tennessee are in desperate need of a good Country Buffet because it's probably the worst one I've ever been to. The food has either been sitting there too long tastes like a can or is Bland. As for the meat selection that everybody keeps talking about they have fish that is fried with too much corn meal the pulled pork sexually pretty good and then they've got three different kinds of chicken strips and some paper thin hamburger steaks really not a big selection.
